SCEJ: Some services of PlayStation Network and Qriocity are reopened from May 28 (Sat.)

On May 27 (Fri.), Sony Corporation and Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCE) announced some services of PlayStation Network and Qriocity which had been suspended owing to illegal accesses will be gradually reopened from May 28 (Sat.)

The following services will be reopened according to the resumption of the services

Sign in and password change in PlayStation Network and Qriocity services

Online battle on “PlayStation 3” and “PlayStation Portable” (PSP)

Functions in “Friends” category such as Friends List, Chat function, Trophies

PlayStation Home

Network function in “torne” and other services* (The periods of validity of all rental video contents purchased on Video Store service in PlayStation Network have expired because of the suspension of PlayStation Network service from April 21; you cannot download them. If you could not download and view the contents after you rented it owing to the suspension of the service, please contact the customer support of SCE.)

* The services accompanied with use and payment in PlayStation Store and “Qriocity” Video On Demand are not included.

* “torne” is only for Japan.

In addition, the details about “Thanks and Apology Package” are announced; users can download games or other contents of PS3 and PSP for free.
