Singer Hitoto Yo’s tour started on May 14 (Sat.) which had been planed before the earthquake. Hitoto Yo, who couldn’t have even read a book from the shock after the earthquake, explained her feelings about starting this tour.
Hitoto Yo’s “Tour 2011 Rest Cheek on Hand - Visit Me at Twilight” has started at the Isehara City Cultural Center; on the opening day, crowds of her fans attended and the event warmed up. She showed the barefoot style which had been her trademark in the early days. Also, she sang “Nakibeso (the crying face)”, the image song of the film “Tozan Daijishin (Tozan Earthquake)”. This was the first time she sang “Nakibeso” because the release of the film was postponed due to the earthquake.
Worrying the sufferers, Hitoto Yo had lost her will to even read a book or see a movie and suffered from her bitter mental condition after the earthquake. But she expressed her decision to start action and said “I don’t know what can I do, but I want to keep moving on and do something step by step.”
She sang 21 songs including the popular “Hanamizuki (dogwood)” and cover songs on the first day of the tour. This “Tour 2011” will continue to the final day, July 3 in Kurayoshi-shi, Tottori Prefecture.
In addition, Hitoto Yo is supposed to join in “ap bank fes ’11 Fund for Japan”. Top artists of J-pop will gather as “Bank Band with Great Artists” in this event, and all of the profit will be used for the support for reconstruction of the stricken areas.
As she joins in such an event, Hitoto Yo will be highly motivated. The fes will be held on July 16 (Sat.), 17 (Sun.) and 18 (Mon., holiday), and the eve of the fes is July 15 (Fri.).
You can check the details about both two events in “Hitoto Yo’s Official Website”.
