AKB 48 Rino Sashihara Confessed Her Secret

Rino Sashihara was ranked in the 9th in the Third Annual AKB 48 Election on June 9. She wrote about her thoughts and secret in her blog.

Rino Sashihara was ranked in the 19th in the previous election. Since the selected members were the top 21, it was not bad at all, but this year, she has become a 'media selected members' who are the top 12 members. Sashihara has been expressing her wish to "talk in the front row and be aired on TV". On the night of the election, Sashihara has wrote her feelings in her blog.

According to her, she ad been feeling nervous and scared, but at the same time, she has many supports by her fans with warm comments and caring words. Each member was fighting with such feelings as Atsuko Maeda who won the first place said she also felt somewhat lonely.

Sashihara seems a little insecure and says "I'm not confident in my ability to dance, sing and the way I look". She continues, "But the result of this election has given me more confidence and I am proud of myself. I am so grateful for the 45,000 votes that were given me. And please don't feel sorry if you only voted one. Your one vote is so precious."

Sashihara ended her blog entry with 'confession'. She confessed that she gave herself three votes. In this election, it was a big phenomenon that fans bought many CDs and gained mass votes for one person, hence some may have felt sorry for their single vote.
